FREE
parking and shuttle will run on Saturday, February 17, from
4 PM to 10 PM at the Hollywood City Hall. The bus will route
from City Hall circle to the Firestone Station at Hollywood
Boulevard and Dixie Highway. The festival and parade are
across the Railroad tracks from the bus stop. Overflow
parking is on Hollywood Boulevard East and west of City
Hall, where the parking meters are $.50 per hour until 6pm.
There are
many parking alternatives in the Downtown area. City
parking meters are $.50 per hour on many of the downtown
streets. Parade route parking is prohibited, until the
parade is over and barricades removed. Many private parking
lots are available, and vary from $5 - $10 flat rate. City
parking garage at Harrison and 20th avenue is a
$5 flat rate, but fills quickly. There is a lot of parking
available east of Young Circle on Hollywood Boulevard, and
by the golf course on Polk Street and 17th
Avenue. Also, Little Flower Church parking is $5 at US1 and
Pierce Street.
DO NOT
PARK IN CITY RESIDENTIAL PERMIT AREAS. $30 is the cost of
the parking ticket. Watch for those signs on the
residential streets near Madison, Monroe, Jackson and Van
Buren Streets.
